GROTON, Conn. (WFSB) - An internal affairs investigation report has revealed new details regarding a viral Youtube video involving a Connecticut State Police sergeant.
In July, a Youtuber and his cameraman, who call themselves first amendment auditors, were arrested after a confrontation with off-duty Sergeant Brian Fahey at his home.
Sean Paul Reyes, owner of the Youtube channel Long Island Audit, and his cameraman Tahiem Nassar Glover, arrived to Fahey’s home in Groton to confront him over his overtime pay.
“According to Mr. Reyes, “Corruptigate” involves allegations that Sergeant Fahey has received fraudulent overtime compensation annually while serving in a desk sergeant capacity during a standard 9-to-5 assignment," the report says.
