FLINT, MI - Flint Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Thursday morning, Aug. 7.

Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Hammerberg Road around 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 in response to a report of a possible shooting. Upon arrival, police found an adult male inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and no suspects have been named.

Detective Kyle Brandon is leading the investigation.
