ALEXANDRIA — The Men's Regular Division's three highest seeds advanced to the final four Thursday but the 4th seed, Logan Johnson, lost to the 12th seed, Sam Peterson in a 19-hole thriller.

Banyai def. Cranmer, 4-3

No. 1 seed Kendell Banyai had a little more breathing room in his Thursday match against the No. 9 seed, Mac Cranmer. It took him 15 holes to defeat Cranmer, 4-3, compared to his previous match, which he won 2-up over the 16th seed, Henry Moen.

Banyai steadily built a comfortable lead over Cranmer on the front nine, taking five holes, Nos. 1, 3, 4, 6 and 9 with two birdies and three pars. Meanwhile, Cranmer won just one hole, No. 5, with a birdie, and trailed by four at the turn. Banyai won No. 10 with par but Cranmer won the next hole with birdie to cut the lead to four. Tha
