SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Louisiana Film Prize is set to announce its top 20 films for 2025, and they say it’s the most talented and competitive group of filmmakers they have ever seen.

On August 7, at The Noble Savage, Prize Fest will announce the top 20 films for the 2025 Louisiana Film Prize . The announcements begin at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

“T his is the most talented and competitive group of filmmakers we’ve ever seen ," says Melissa Brannan, Louisiana Film Prize.

The top 20 films will have a chance to win up to $50,00O.

The announcement is free to attend, and light refreshments and libations, which will include tequila, will be served.
