OURAY COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - The identities of the victims in crashes on U.S. 550 that happened on Tuesday and Wednesday were announced by the Ouray County Coroner's Office.

Coroner R. Glenn Boyd said the occupants in the car on Red Mountain Pass were Louis Michael, 42, of Farmington, New Mexico, and Leoba Valdez, 79, of Aztec, New Mexico. Their vehicle rolled over 320 feet down Red Mountain Pass and landed in the river. A girl was also in the vehicle and was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. There has not been an update on her condition.

Boyd also said the driver in a two-vehicle crash near Colona who died was Montrose man Tyler Smith, 40. The passenger of Smith's car was transported to the nearby hospital with serious to critical injuries. The two occupants in the othe
