GULF BREEZE, Fla. (WKRG) — Parents gathered at the Santa Rosa County District Schools school board meeting Thursday morning looking for answers.

Gulf Breeze Elementary School Assistant Principal Kim McChesney is now on leave as the district looks into an incident at the school involving her son, 18-year-old Matthew McChesney.

In July, he was charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography.

The investigation began months earlier while he attended Gulf Breeze High School.

According to the arrest report, he admitted to possessing child pornography to a deputy during an interview at the school on May 8. That same day, the deputy executed a search warrant at his home.
