PALM COAST, Fla. (Gray News) – A woman in Florida is accused of posing as a licensed nurse and caring for over 4,000 patients over the course of two years.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said 29-year-old Autumn Bardisa, of Palm Coast, was arrested Tuesday following a seven-month-long investigation.

Bardisa is accused of posing as a licensed nurse at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.

Hospital officials reported to law enforcement that they fired Bardisa after they discovered she was impersonating a registered nurse by using another person’s license number and submitting false documents.

The hospital said Bardisa originally started as an advanced nurse technician in July 2023.
