BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - It’s the first Friday of the school year for kids across the region. Luckily, the weather will cooperate in the morning.
We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day and mainly dry weather. A few, thunderstorms can’t be ruled out during the afternoon but many locations should remain rain-free.
Hot temperatures will prevail during the afternoon with highs in the 90s.
You may want to keep the rain gear handy this weekend. The good news is that Saturday appears to be mainly dry with a slight chance of hit and miss storms in the afternoon. Sunday’s rain chances are a bit greater with afternoon and evening thunderstorms likely. Any rain and storms should diminish around sunset.
