JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - Attorney General Lynn Fitch (R-Miss.) announced Mississippi has joined a multistate effort to crack down on robocalls.

Fitch said she launched Operation Robocall Roundup, a multistate effort by the Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force. She sent warning letters to 37 voice providers demanding that they act now to stop illegal robocalls being routed through their networks.

I will continue to stand up for Mississippi consumers and protect them from these unsolicited and potentially harmful calls," said Fitch.
