HUNTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Officials with HEMSI say no one was hurt after a car left the roadway on Monte Sano.

HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster said none of the people in the car were hurt after it left the roadway and fell down the cliff.

The Huntsville Police Department said the incident happened around 6:20 p.m. when a four-door sedan moving southbound on Monte Sano Boulevard towards Governors Drive lost control and left the roadway. HPD said the car had been moving too fast, given the road conditions at the time.

HPD said the car was occupied by the driver and two passengers. HEMSI and HPD said that none of the people were injured.
