WORTHINGTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — As it works to solve the issues plaguing its sewer system, the Town of Worthington has officially submitted its Plan of Corrective Action (POCA), according to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP).
The WVDEP confirmed to 12 News that Worthington submitted its POCA by the Aug. 6 deadline. The WVDEP is now reviewing the plan and will formally respond as part of the administrative order process, according to a statement sent to 12 News.
The town will be required to adhere to the POCA as soon as it is notified that the plan has been approved.
