(KRON) — Multiple mosquitoes have tested positive for carrying West Nile virus in Solano County, the Solano County Mosquito Abatement District announced Friday.
On Aug. 4, West Nile virus was found in mosquitoes near Shiloh Church on Shiloh Road in Suisun City, according to the Solano County Mosquito Abatement District. The test marked the first positive detection in the county in 2025.
On August 7, 2025, West Nile virus was also found in mosquitoes near Allendale Road in Vacaville.
