COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Sumter Police are looking for a suspect who shot a man and a bystander during an argument Thursday afternoon.

The department is looking for 38-year-old Davon Antonio Ladson after a shooting that occurred on Thursday afternoon

The search comes after officers were called to the Valero convenience store on Broad Street, where they found a bystander shot. While investigating, officers learned the man involved in the argument was also shot and arrived at Prisma Health Tuomey for treatment.

Police say both victims are expected to recover, and the investigation is ongoing.
