TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Today’s something good is new homes and new beginnings for two Tallahassee families who are enjoying a new milestone - as homeowners!

A ribbon-cutting and a housewarming ceremony were hosted on Thursday in the Providence neighborhood, and the two families received housewarming gifts and plenty of well-wishes!

More good news:

It was all made possible by Leon County’s Homeownership Development Program and funding from SHIP, the State Housing Initiatives Partnership.

The program helps low-income, first-time homebuyers make homeownership come true.
