MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The City of Madison said multiple streets in the downtown and surrounding area will be impacted by the Madison Mini Marathon on Saturday.

The annual event , which includes a half marathon and a 5K plus a kid’s run, will impact traffic between 7 a.m. and noon.

The half marathon starts at 7 a.m., the 5K starts at 7:15 a.m. and the kid’s run starts at 10 a.m.

Main roadways impacted include parts of North Park Street, Observatory Drive, West Dayton Street, and Langdon Street.

City officials said local through access will be allowed along the race route, and traffic control will be removed as the last runners pass each location.
