MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Starting early Friday evening, Southern Wisconsin will settle into a mostly calm and quiet night after a day that brought hot and humid conditions. Highs climbed into the upper 80s and low 90s with heat indices reaching near 95 to 100 degrees, especially in inland areas.
