A Leeds gran has relived the harrowing moment three big, aggressive dogs tried to “rip her dog apart like she was a toy”.
Gillian Brown’s tiny Shih Tzu Bronte was attacked in Nunroyd Park in Yeadon at about 5pm on Sunday, August 3. The gran-of-eight, who works as a dog boarder, was walking Bronte, along with a springer spaniel when the attack took place.
The 60-year-old described how her dogs were attacked by a Cane Corso and a pair of mixed XL Bullies. Gillian said what followed was “carnage.”
The owner of the dangerous dogs, Emily Prest, 37, of Queensway, has since been charged with being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control. She is due in court in September.
