FOREST PARK — Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services recently unveiled a new, valuable tool to help with its fire safety education efforts.

On Saturday, Aug. 2 during its annual State of the Department Address at the Gillem Public Safety Center, the fire department held a push-in ceremony for a new fire safety simulator trailer.

Forest Park Fire Marshal Officer Anthony Gallman said the department did an assessment two years ago and the department had an out-of-date fire safety simulator trailer.

“We saw the need to replace that,” he said.

The new, state-of-the-art simulator comes with electronics and an AI program.
