CACHE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Logan Canyon will experience some delays between August 11 and August 15, as ranchers move their cattle through the canyon.

According to the U.S. Forest Service, Logan Canyon travelers may experience delays. Reportedly Permittees will be moving cattle within the canyon from 11a.m. to 3p.m. each day between Monday, August 11, and Friday, August 15.

Over 1,300 cattle will be moved over the five-day period, in groups of 300 to 400 cattle at a time. Permittees will be moving cattle on US Highway 89 between the cattle guard below Twin Creek and Bunchgrass Creek.

The US Forest Service is urging drivers to slow down and be cautious, especially around any of the steep curves in Logan Canyon.
