A heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Friday at 1:45 a.m. valid from 11 a.m. until Saturday 11 p.m. for Curry County Coast.

The weather service states to be ready for, "High temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s with overnight temperatures in the mid 60s to lower 70s."

"Unusually warm to hot temperatures will increase risk for heat illnesses. Warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief from daytime temperatures," explains the weather service.
