COLUMBUS, Ind. – One of the first announcements the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) made to kick off the 2025-2026 school year was to congratulate one of its educators.

German teacher, Amelia Shaw, has been named this year’s BCSC Teacher of the Year. She is a Columbus North graduate.

After receiving the honor, Shaw said, “I feel like the person I am today is because of the lessons I learned here as a student and now teacher at Columbus North High School. It’s a full circle moment.”
