(WJW) - Friday afternoon is going to feature some classic summer weather! It’s going to be very warm and humid. Plus, there is going to be no shortage of sunshine. Highs on Friday will be in the mid 80s.

With the increase in the heat and humidity, a small stray rain shower, or two, cannot be ruled out. The coverage of rain will be very small Friday afternoon/evening. The chance of rain on Friday is pretty much as low as it goes without officially being zero.

An Air Quality Alert will remain in effect until midnight on Friday. There could be higher than normal levels of ground ozone on Friday. The air quality may be unhealthy at times for those in the sensitive groups.

Friday night will be warm and muggy, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.
