Law enforcement agencies conducted a coordinated speed enforcement operation in Upper Macungie Township on Wednesday, resulting in dozens of citations and one drug-related arrest.

Pennsylvania State Police Troop M’s Fogelsville Station and Upper Macungie Township Police Department, working with the Highway Safety Network, carried out the enforcement detail along Routes 222 and 100 in Lehigh County.

Officers conducted the operation during two time periods: from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The initiative aimed to increase roadway safety and reduce motor vehicle crashes through visible enforcement.
