Parmigiano Reggiano sold at Walmart is being pulled from shelves in Canada over mould, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said.

The recall concerns two Our Finest-branded products, according to the recall notice , adding the mould concern is a quality or spoilage issue that is not considered harmful.

The recalled cheese was also sold on Amazon.ca :

Our Finest 100 g Parmigiano Reggiano grated cheese, with the Universal Product Code 6 27735 01481 4 and best before date of Oct. 28, 2025 or Dec. 20, 2025

Our Finest 100g Parmigiano Reggiano petals, with the UPC 6 27735 01483 8 and best before date of Oct. 28, 2025 or Dec. 20, 2025

The CFIA is urging consumers not to eat, sell, serve or distribute the recalled cheese.
