Bandys High School graduate Landon Vaughan has made the 2025-26 Lenoir-Rhyne men’s basketball roster, according to information released from the university.
Vaughan is one of 17 players named by head coach Brent Owen to this year’s squad. Vaughan was a standout at Bandys who led the Trojans to a 22-8 season last winter and a trip to the 2A regional finals. He averaged 22.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season. As a junior, he averaged 19.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game. He was named to the All-Catawba County first team both years.
Vaughan accepted an offer to Lenoir-Rhyne in April. He said he has been working hard over the summer to get ready for basketball at the next level.
