CLEVELAND (WJW) — Browns football is officially back.

The Cleveland Browns will kick off their 2025 preseason schedule Friday night in Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers at 7 p.m.

Rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders will get the start under center in his first NFL test.

Sanders, a fifth-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft, is expected to play for a large portion of the game, according to the team.
