SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. —
A teacher in South Carolina is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student and was arrested at the high school where she works, according to the Saluda County Sheriff's Office.
Melissa Groleau, a teacher at Saluda High School, is facing multiple charges, including two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second-degree assault and battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The Saluda County Sheriff's Office said the investigation began Thursday morning after information was given to the school resource officer at the school.
