South Carolina: 3 accused of aiding inmates' escape to Georgia

Three people have been charged for allegedly aiding the escape of two inmates in Union County, South Carolina, who were later captured in Georgia.

On July 29, troopers with the Georgia State Patrol captured two escaped inmates following a pursuit in Hartwell.

The escapees were identified as Devin Jake Fisher and Nicklaus Chase Bevis.

After learning about their escape, troopers contacted the Union County Sheriff's Office to verify that two inmates had escaped from the Union County Detention Center.

The Union County Sheriff's Office reportedly had no prior knowledge of the escape.
