GREENVILLE, S.C. —

Prisma Health Children's Hospital's multimillion-dollar upgrade was made possible not only through generous monetary contributions, but also the inputs and feedback of families who are all too familiar with spending time inside a hospital.

Prisma Health wanted to implement suggestions from parents to this new expansion, in an effort to make their experience in the hospital more comfortable.

"We wanted to make sure that we had a world-class place for our kids," said Dr. Aniket Saha, medical director of the hospital's newest unit.

The Mills Family was just one of the families whose inputs were implemented in the expansion.
