COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A section of I-20 has now reopened after a crash involving two 18-wheelers and a passenger van completely shut down an exit ramp at Mile Marker 116, according to Lee County Rescue.

When crews arrived at the scene, one of the 18-wheelers was on fire and sustained “extensive damage” with cargo “severely compromised.” The second 18-wheeler was overturned with its load scattered across the interstate, said Lee County Fire Rescue.

The passenger vehicle was also “engulfed in flames” according to the agency. Several state and private agencies helped respond to the scene.
