FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — It's going to be a special night in Foxboro on Friday as the Patriots get ready to honor legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

Patriots owner and CEO Robert Kraft will hold a ceremony at 6 p.m. to reveal the larger-than-life, 12-foot statue of Brady before New England’s first preseason game against the Washington Commanders.

The statue is currently sitting inside a black box in front of the stadium.

After the unveiling, Brady will give his reaction and address those in attendance.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to enter the stadium early to watch the ceremony on the Gillette Stadium video boards.
