SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) - A man was arrested for sending inappropriate text messages to a teenager, according to South Windsor police.

The suspect was identified as 60-year-old Joseph Krukowski of South Windsor.

Police said Krukowski’s arrest stemmed from an investigation that began in June 2025.

They said it was reported to them that Krukowski had been texting back and forth with an individual who clamed to be 14 years old.

Police investigated and said it was true.

Krukowski was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with harmful communication with a minor.

He was given a court date of Aug. 27 in Manchester.
