A man viciously attacked three women - all strangers to him - just minutes apart in a terrifying spree of violence from 8am.

Ali Naseem-Akbar was later deemed unfit to stand trial due to his mental health. It emerged in court he had sat a medical test, but failed a key element of it, in order to qualify to practice medicine in the UK having studied in Pakistan.

It was said to have caused a deterioration in his mental health.

One woman was targeted by Naseem-Akbar, 30, as she walked her young son to school - and said she thought she was going to die at his hands.
