A crash shut down a stretch of Interstate 74 in Indiana Friday morning.

The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes around 7 a.m. in Dearborn County, just west of the Ohio state line.

Due to the crash, all lanes of Interstate 74 eastbound were closed between Exit 169, Route 52/Brookville, and the Indiana-Ohio state line.

Traffic was severely backed up in the area.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 74 remained open.

At this time, it's unclear if anyone was injured.
