A candlelight vigil is to be held this weekend in tribute for a brother and sister who tragically died on holiday in Spain.

Ameiya, 13, and 11-year-old Ricardo Junior, from Erdington , were swept away from Llarga Beach, in Salou, by powerful currents, shortly after 8.45pm on Tuesday, July 29.

Despite the best efforts of emergency crews, the pair sadly died.

Scores of "RIP sweet angel" tributes have been paid to the pair, who have been described as "beautiful" and "bright".

Now a candlelight is set to go ahead to celebrate the lives of the siblings in Birmingham tomorrow.
