Lexington is getting a little spicier with the opening of the town’s newest restaurant. Vedha Indian Cafe is about to complete its second week of business in the McCauley Square shopping center on Sunset Boulevard. The facility is a family-owned restaurant and the first Indian cafe business venture for manager Neha Arunprakash and her parents, who are the owners.
Arunprakash has been in Columbia for the past four years as a student at the University of South Carolina, and her parents have been residents of Fort Mill for 14 years. She said their love for Indian food and the desire to bring authentic options to the Town of Lexington in an area without an Indian restaurant were the main reasons they chose the location.
