JACKSON COUNTY, MI – The Jackson County Fair continues today with a variety of activities for fairgoers to enjoy. Here’s what’s happening on Friday, Aug. 8.
Gates are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, 128 W. Ganson St. Today, the entrance fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children, according to the fair’s website.
A highlight of today’s events is Industrial Day, which puts Jackson’s manufacturing industry in the spotlight. People will be able to interact with local manufacturers on what they build and how it impacts the community.
Cornhole tournament
The Jackson County Fair is hosting a cornhole tournament at 11 a.m. Friday at the livestock arena, after the beef cow show.
