CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Local churches, businesses, and volunteers are teaming up once again for the annual ‘Stuff the Bus’ campaign, a county-wide effort to collect school supplies for Carteret County students.

This year’s event will run from today through Sunday.

Donation stations set up at Walmart and Staples in Morehead City.

Community members are encouraged to stop by and drop off new school supplies to help ensure every student in the county starts the school year with the tools they need.

Collected items will be distributed to Carteret County students on Wednesday, August 13th, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
