AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says the southbound lanes of I-27 between McCormick and FM 2219 are now open after a crash involving a Randall County deputy.

According to officials, the Randall County deputy stopped to pick up debris in the road, when another car hit the patrol car.

Officials say there are no injuries.
