MACON, Ga. — A crash has blocked lanes on I-75 Southbound past Sardis Church Road on Friday morning, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

GDOT's 511GA website shows that multiple lanes were blocked, and traffic is being redirected. A photo shows that the Bibb County Sheriff's Office is at the scene helping redirect traffic.

Originally, 511 indicated there were two lanes closed due to the crash, but one lane has since reopened.

The photo also shows that a semitruck might've been involved in the accident.

GDOT made a social media post around 6:45 a.m. notifying about the public about the crash. They listed an end time of around 10:30 a.m. Lanes appear to be blocked and traffic is still moving slowly through the area.
