TOWN OF GREENFIELD, Wis. (WKOW) — The Sauk County Sheriff's Office has identified a woman who was killed after a deer was knocked into the path she was driving in by another vehicle , according to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office.

The woman has been identified as Brianna C. Espinoza White, 29, of Baraboo.

The sheriff's office said the deer went through White's windshield, causing her to veer off the road and hit a house.

The crash happened around 8:35 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 33 in the town of Greenfield.

The Sauk County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash happened when a deer was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The deer then entered the windshield of the woman's westbound vehicle, causing life-threatening injuries before the vehicle went off the road and hit a house.
