The Gary Air Show will again soar over the shoreline of Lake Michigan this weekend.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Army Golden Knights will headline this year’s air show, which typically packs large crowds into Marquette Park at Gary’s lakefront Miller Beach neighborhood. As many as an estimated 250,000 people used to attend before it went on hiatus.
High-flying acts that tour the nation will perform daring aerial feats from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
