A woman sustained life-changing injuries after a hit-and-run in Bedworth . It happened near Greggs on All Saints Square.

At around 10am on Friday, June 20, the woman had been standing outside Greggs . Police said a man on a mobility scooter struck the elderly victim and quickly fled.

She was found to have sustained life-changing injuries. Officers investigating the collision have today (August 8) appealed for CCTV.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses as we continue to investigate a fail-to-stop mobility scooter collision that left an elderly woman with serious, life-changing injuries.
