LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A western Kentucky man is facing charges for trying to get sexual images from a 13-year-old in Fayette County.

According to a criminal complaint, the victim’s mother called police, saying her daughter sent the pictures to 19-year-old Thomas Barrett.

The victim told police she had been messaging with Barrett for two weeks before he asked for nude photographs.

Police say Barrett sent the victim sexual images as well.

Barrett is due in court next Thursday and is held on a $10,000 bond.
