The Detroit Tigers got a quick breather on Thursday following their series loss to the Minnesota Twins inside Comerica Park, falling two games to one, including a rough 9-4 defeat on Wednesday night.

This weekend, AJ Hinch and Co. will play the second leg of their home stand against the Los Angeles Angels, who arrive in town for a three-game set starting on Friday night. The Halos hold the fourth spot in the American League West, a distant nine games behind the first-place Houston Astros, following a series loss at home to the Tampa Bay Rays. They have split their last 10 games evenly while posting a minus-68 run differential so far this summer.
