When the Detroit Tigers were swept by the Seattle Mariners heading into the All-Star break, it was easy to shake off. Fresh off their own sweep of the Cleveland Guardians and a series victory over the Tampa Bay Rays that put them 14 games up in the AL Central, the Tigers first stumble into the break barely scratched the surface of the fanbase’s confidence in their ballclub.
