A man who was accused of causing a crash that seriously injured himself, four other teens and an Uber driver near Sacred Heart University in Fairfield in 2023 has reached a plea deal that will send him to prison for four-and-a-half years, according to his attorney.

The crash happened early on the morning of Friday, Sept. 29, 2023.

Tyler Delk, who is now 21 years old, was a 19-year-old Sacred Heart student at the time of the crash, according to the arrest warrant that was issued for him.
