Candidates for the Oct. 7 municipal elections for city, Borough Assembly and school board races have been finalized, with most races having at least two candidates.

For Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly races, three seats are up for re-election.

Assemblymember Brett Rotermund will run uncontested for Seat B after business owner Will Hutto withdrew. Hutto told KUAC last week that he withdrew his name after receiving a work new contract.

Assembly Seat C has three candidates, including North Pole veterinarian Jeanne Olson, Fairbanks teacher and past candidate Garrett Armstrong, and local plumber J.T. McComas-Roe. Assemblymember Mindy O’Neall, who holds the seat, is termed out after six years.
