A 46-year-old man has been handed eight charges as a result of search warrants completed at two Kitchener residences after a three-month drug trafficking investigation.

Waterloo Regional Police executed the search warrants Wednesday, yielding suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, and hydromorphone pills. Also seized were a firearm, two stolen motorcycles, and approximately $5,000 in Canadian currency.

The man was charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, operation of a conveyance while prohibited, and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
