The scorching Mississippi summer is almost over, and pumpkin spice season is coming in hot. The Old Farmer's Almanac, NOAA and AccuWeather have dropped their fall 2025 weather forecasts and their predictions for the 2025-2026 winter season.

The Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a hotter-than-normal autumn for most of the U.S., particularly the West. Several states, from Florida to California and north to Maine, can expect below-average rainfall. But the Pacific Northwest and High Plains should be ready for extra precipitation.

The Gulf Coast can also expect a warm few months, even during football season. But rain forecasts vary, depending on what part of the state you're in.
